Kim Kardashian hit back, claiming she “damaged” Marilyn Monroe’s iconic dress at the Met Gala.

The SKIMS founder, 41, caused controversy when she wore the late actress’ ‘Happy Birthday’ dress on the carpet representing the annual event – before changing to a replica at the top stair.

Mother-of-four Kim appeared on America Today, where she was questioned about wearing the dress and whether she caused any damage.

Kim told hosts Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie: “No” as she shook her head.

Savannah later added: “Ripley’s said the dress was undamaged.”

But Ripley has defended Kim on Instagram.
