Kim Kardashian is said to be furious with Kanye West over his Eazy music video, which appears to show the rapper burying her current boyfriend Pete Davidson alive.

The somber cartoon was released hours after Kim was declared legally single by a US court, more than a year after she first filed for divorce from Kanye.

The video features a sound-animated character of Kanye kidnapping Pete, putting a bag over his head, tying him up and throwing him in the back of a van before burying him alive.

The video ends with Kanye scattering seeds over his “love rival” while roses grow on his head.

Fans reacted with horror after the video was shared this week, with sources close to Kim, 41, revealing how upset she was over the dark content affair.

“Kim thinks it’s way too violent and is upset,” a source said PEOPLE.

“She’s really mad at Kanye for doing this. She’s done with all of this and she wants it to stop.”

The source also claims that Kim couldn’t understand why Kanye could agree to such a “violent” post but left open about giving her eight-year-old daughter North a TikTok account.

In his latest track, Kanye raps, “God saved me from the crash just so I could punch Pete Davidson’s ass.”

Following backlash, the video has now been removed from Kanye’s Instagram page.

The rap star has taken to his social media page to rant about his ongoing split from Kim, with whom he has made no secret of his hopes for a reconciliation.

However, Kim seems to turn a blind eye to his pleas to “keep the family together” as she continues to be loved up with Saturday Night Live comic Pete, who is 13 years her junior.

Defending her beau to Kanye’s followers, she chose to “like” a tweet from Suicide Squad director James Gunn, who posted amid the video furore, “For the record, Pete Davidson is one of the nicest, sweetest guys I’ve ever met know. Really generous, tender and funny spirit. He treats everyone around him with respect.”

After briefly weighing the controversy, the People’s Kardashian source said Kim’s main priority is protecting her children.

Kanye has made no secret of his dislike for the SNL comedian

“She’s very angry about the violence and she just finds it inappropriate and wrong.”

Kim and Kanye share custody of their children North, Chicago, four, Saint, six, and Psalm, two.

Since their split, Kim has moved on with SNL comic Pete after the pair appeared on the show together and even snogged during a sketch.

The union hasn’t gone down well with Kanye, who has been dating Julia Fox and Chaney Jones since he split from Kim – who has poked fun at the SNL performance in his new music.

The rapper, 44, sampled Kim’s monologue, in which she called him “the greatest rapper of all time” and the “richest black man in America,” on the track Sci Fi.

Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February last year after nearly seven years of marriage.
