Kim Kardashian worries her hair will fall out after looking stunning at the Met Gala

Kim Kardashian admitted she was worried her hair might fall out in an attempt to rock her stunning look at the Met Gala on Monday.

The 41-year-old SKIMS founder lent Marilyn Monroe Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! museum – paid $4.8m (£3.9m) in an auction in November 2016 – that Monroe wore when she sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to the then US president now John F. Kennedy in 1962.

The theme of the night was “In America: An Anthology of Fashion and the Gilded Glamor” and the reality TV star certainly pulled out every stop to be the center of attention at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The body-hugging Jean Louis dress had more than 6,000 crystals on it and Kardashian admitted to Vogue on the red carpet at the event that she lost 16 pounds to fit the outfit.

It was later revealed that Kim was unable to pull the dress on during the showcase and was forced to leave it open, which she covered with a white fur shawl. She completed her Marilyn Monroe look with platinum blonde hair that took her over 10 hours to dye.

Kylie Jenner’s half-sister has released a Vlogs on YouTube on her channel on Wednesdays, showcasing the preparations for the Met Gala costume planning.

A video captures Kylie, who wore a white wedding dress finished with a white baseball cap, trying on her outfit 24 hours before the event, as Kim entered the room for a chat in which she 24-year-old girl said: “I can’t believe you’re actually dyeing your hair.”

Kylie’s daughter Stormi was in the room with Kendall Jenner, Kim told her niece, “My hair will be blonde, like Elsa,” to which Kylie replied, “You’re so bold for that. You’re so bold. .”

Kim added, “I’ve been doing this for 10 hours now. I’m going to risk losing my hair,” before she rushes off to continue getting ready for her Marilyn Monroe look.

It was also the first time that all of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters and mother Kris Jenner were present, marking the first time Kourtney and Khloe have been invited to the show.
