King Charles III gets punk makeover in Coronation Street Art

King Charles III got punk in a new piece of street art in London this week.
Street artist Pegasus, real name Chris Turner, reworked the iconic artwork of The Sex Pistols’ “God Save the Queen‘ arrived ahead of the coronation of the new monarch on Saturday.
Charles wears a choker, an earring and a Jean Michel Basquiatcrown in front of an upside-down Union flag to reflect “dismay at the perennial question of the relevance of our monarchy in contemporary society,” the Chicago-born Turner told London evening standard Newspaper. The symbols of religions on the crown refer to Charles’ vow to defend all faiths, he added.
