Nintendo has announced the release date for Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

Starring Kirby, our lovable hero gains new abilities in this 3D platformer adventure to transform again on March 25.

In the game, the cute pink-haired girl travels to an unknown land and discovers that Waddle Dees is being kidnapped by the Beast Pack. To rescue Waddle Dees, Kirby confronts Elfilin, whom he meets in the new world.

During your adventure, you’ll use Kirby’s range of abilities to fend off enemies and navigate in 3D environments. You will face many different background challenges in a world where nature and civilization of the past have merged. As you begin to free Waddle Dees, you will find them imprisoned at a target point at the end of each level. You’ll want to explore every nook and cranny to rescue as many Waddle Dees along the way.

The Beast Pack, which has kidnapped Waddle Dees, will present a challenge, so along with Kirby’s ability to copy, there will be new additions to his repertoire. One is the Drill clone skill, where you go underground to attack enemies from below. There is also a Ranger clone ability that can allow him to hit enemies at a distance.
