Kirby and the Lost Land demo available now for Nintendo Switch

Kirby and the Forgotten Land has received a surprise demo, Nintendo announced today.

Containing the first three levels from Kirby’s original world, the demo offers players a taste of the adventure that some have compared to The Last of Us and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land, originally announced in September, is the pink puffball’s first full 3D adventure – remarkable considering Nintendo’s cuddliest creepy creep debuted way back in 1992. A teaser was released earlier this week showing how Kirby will explore this new world.

New features include Kirby’s ability to devour an entire car and become “Carby,” which quickly became a popular meme among fans. What other new horrors await in the Forgotten Land? Maybe we’ll see in the demo.

The Kirby and the Forgotten Land demo is available now on the Switch eShop. The full game will be released on March 25th.
