Kirby and the Lost Land demo is now available for Switch owners

Nintendo has released a demo for Kirby and the forgotten land in the eShop.

Switch owners interested in the title can check it out now ahead of its March 25 release for Switch.

In the 3D platform adventure, Kirby comes to an unknown land and discovers that Waddle Dees are kidnapped by the Beast Pack. To save the Waddle Dees, Kirby sets out with Elfilin, whom he meets in the new world.

Kirby has a range of abilities to fight enemies and navigate through 3D environments. In a world where nature and a bygone civilization have merged, you will face various platforming challenges. As you set out to free the Waddle Dees, you will find that at the end of each stage they are held captive at a target point. You’ll also want to explore every nook and cranny to save as many Waddle Dees along the way.

There are new additions to his repertoire, and these include the Drill Copy ability, where you go into the ground to attack enemies from below. There’s also a Ranger copy ability that he can use to attack a faraway enemy.

The game also supports co-op, where the second player plays Bandana Waddle Dee, who can use his spear to perform a variety of attacks.

A new overview trailer has been released alongside the demo, which you can check out above. Kirby and the Lost Land demo is now available for Switch owners
