“Never judge a case based on an arrest,” Cohen said. “There are facts and circumstances that give rise to a plea, especially in this case. We have negotiated a sum of 75,000 and we will proceed to resolve the matter quickly.”

Black has faced many legal issues over the years. In November 2019, he was sentenced to more than three years in federal prison after pleading guilty to the weapons charges. The hip-hop star served about half a term before being pardoned at the last minute by former President Donald Trump.

Black, who was shot earlier this year at a post-Super Bowl party in Los Angeles, has also previously been charged multiple times with robbery, sexual assault, false imprisonment, fleeing a real employee law enforcement, probation violations, and more.
