Kardashians come to Italy for Kourtney and Travis’s wedding

Kourtney Kardashian has been questioned about her recent fashion choices, with some fans speculating that her fiance Travis Barker is responsible for it.

It comes as the couple prepares to get married in the Italian village of Portofino, surrounded by loved ones – and they will wed in a historic castle later today.

The bride-to-be, 43, and her family were spotted in the area in recent days ahead of the wedding, with Kourtney donning a gothic dress on one occasion.

She’s been known for her sharper and darker looks since the start of her relationship with Travis, 46, – with fans having commented so at the wedding.

A fan shared a photo on Reddit yesterday they claimed to be Kourtney’s last visit to Portofino, with that being interpreted as going back to a trip she went on in 2018.

It is understood she visited the village that year with then-boyfriend Younes Bendjima, now 29, while still together – as she donned a blue two-piece.

The person who shared the photo in response wrote alongside it: “Last time Kourtney took her boyfriend to Portofino…this is Kourt top notch in terms of vibe and fashion.”

In response, some have suggested that her stylistic growth – which has not been praised by those on the platform – is a result of her relationship with Travis.

One person wrote: “I blame Travis – he made her cringe.” Another said: “Her clothes now look cheap and don’t fit.” While a third wrote: “I hate everything about her style right now.”

Others argue that the “goth look” is not the problem, but the implementation. One said: “She can make it look more stylish and put it together. It all looks so cheap and messy now.”

Another said that they didn’t mind her wearing a chic style, but commented that the way such an outfit was fitted was an issue. They said they were “not a good fit” for Kourtney.

They further commented on the post: “It’s normal when you’re with someone to mirror each other but why didn’t anyone tell her to size up/edit things?”

Another said Kourtney “morphs” into whoever she’s dating, adding that Younes is in the fashion industry but Travis “dresses up like a weird gothic tramp and she does.”

And while it’s unclear what specific looks such commenters are also referring to, others on social media have taken to indicating that they don’t care about Dolce & Gabbana’s looks.

Similar frustration was shared by photos previously uploaded to Instagram by Kourtney, which showed her in a gothic D&G with an image of the Virgin Mary on it.

One fan replied in the comments: “She changed her whole style and that’s not her. All the black stuff she wears etc.” Another said: ” He changed your own style.”

“She goes from boho organic lifestyle with very earthy tones [which] Make her look young and vibrant with this weird gothic stripper feel. Not cute at all,” commented one fan.

Another similar opinion piece suggested that they weren’t interested in her new style, with them writing in the comments: “I really love the bohemian vibes she used to have.”

However, other fans on social media, such as on Reddit, have defended Kourtney’s style choices. One person wrote: “As long as she’s relaxed and happy that’s all that matters.”
