KSS Air Ambulance lands at Brighton Park – Latest details
An air ambulance landed in a city center park this afternoon.
The Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS) ambulance landed at East Brighton Park around 3.30pm after landing on the South Downs near Rodmell between Peacehaven and Lewes.
While the Royal Sussex County Hospital helipad is under construction, the park will be used as a temporary landing pad for the ambulance.
The helicopter has since returned to its base at Redhill Aerodrome at 4:30pm.
The ambulance left Rochester Airport at 2:35pm this afternoon en route to Sussex.
The KSS Air Ambulance was contacted for comment.
