Kylie Jenner is being criticized for posting and deleting an Instagram story in support of Israel amid the Hamas attack

Kylie Jenner is under pressure for posting an Instagram story in support of Israel following a deadly Hamas attack over the weekend.
The reality star reportedly shared a picture of the Israeli flag on Saturday with the caption: “Now and always we stand with the people of Israel!” from pro-Israel account @StandWithUs, according to Page Six.
“SHARE as you stand with the people of Israel as they face one of the most frightening situations in many years,” the said Original posts Caption reads.
Jenner quickly I deleted the post just an hour later, after being largely crushed by negative feedback from her whopping 400 million followers on social media.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder’s post came after news that Hamas militants had staged a deadly attack on Israel. Rockets were fired at Israel from Gaza by Hamas fighters first surprise attack about Israel in 50 years, Hundreds of Palestinians and Israelis were killed and thousands were injured.
Although her post was deleted, it continued to cause a stir with many social media users asking her millions of followers to unfollow her.
Others supposedly flooded her comments section with Palestinian flags, and some users on X, formerly Twitter, criticized her for having “no idea” about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
“Wtf @KylieJenner Everyone needs to please unfollow #KylieJenner!!!! #Palestine,” one person wrote.
Another commented: “#KylieJenner has no idea what is going on between #Isreal and #Palestine. For now, celebrities should only condemn the war crimes committed by both sides.”
Others on X called Jenner’s post insensitive and “crazy” considering she is close friends with the model Bella Hadidwhose father is Palestinian and who has long campaigned for Palestinian rights.
Jenner’s representatives did not immediately respond to HuffPost’s request for comment. The beauty mogul has not yet publicly commented on quitting her first post.
Hamas’s unprecedented attack prompted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to call on civilians to evacuate the Gaza Strip.
“Citizens of Israel, we are at war” he reportedly said in one TV message. “This is not an operation, not an escalation – this is war. And we will win. Hamas will pay an unprecedented price.”
