Kylie Jenner testifies that she warned her brother about Blac Chyna
Kylie Jenner testified Monday that she had expressed concerns to her brother Rob Kardashian about his new girlfriend and soon-to-be reality TV co-star Blac Chyna.
s Jenner said she heard that Ms Chyna had a tendency to abuse drugs and alcohol and become violent, and gotten a possible glimpse of it herself.
“I felt it was my duty to voice my concerns, but ultimately it was up to him,” said Ms. Jenner, now 24 and then a teenager, from the witness stand at a Los Angeles trial. She said her brother ignored her warnings and continued the relationship.
Ms Chyna is suing Ms Jenner and three other members of the Kardashian family, alleging they defamed her as violent and forced the cancellation of her reality show Rob & Chyna after a short season.

Both Ms Chyna and Ms Jenner had previous relationships with rapper Tyga, and Ms Chyna had a child with him. Ms Jenner said Tyga told her dark stories from his time with Ms Chyna and showed her a 6-inch knife scar she inflicted on him while abusing drugs and alcohol.
Ms Jenner said she received at least one threatening text message from Ms Chyna during her date with Tyga.
“As far as I remember, she sent me some devil emojis and said something like ‘counting the days until she can hit me or something,'” she said. “I didn’t report it because I assumed it was an empty threat.”
Ms Jenner testified that when Rob Kardashian and Ms Chyna started dating in January 2016, she didn’t trust Ms Chyna’s love was real.

Still, she said she was cautiously optimistic after they announced in April 2016 that they were getting engaged and in May said they were having a baby together.
“I was happy for my brother at the time,” Ms. Jenner said, “but I was just curious how it would go.”
Rob & Chyna would premiere in September, the couple would have a daughter, Dream, in November and by December they would be partying all night long to get their show approved for a second season in what turned into an all-out battle.
That argument, and how violent it may have become, was the focus of testimony from both Ms. Chyna and Ms. Jenner’s mother, Kris Jenner.

Kris Jenner, who did not witness the fight, tearfully testified that she felt Ms Chyna was trying to “murder” her son.
Kylie, at whose home the two lived, testified that she saw some of the damage after the fight and recalled her brother being emotionally traumatized, but could not recall seeing any signs of physical injury .
She definitely got away with the violence being serious, she testified.
“He used the words ‘She tried to kill me,'” Kylie Jenner said.
Ms. Jenner returns to the witness stand on Tuesday.
