Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kylie Jenner approved an old-fashioned cleaning trick by using it to clean her own favorite jewelry.

The most popular and effective way to clean jewelry is with the inexpensive 88p tip of using white vinegar and baking soda.

The mother-of-two has shared her process of cleaning one of her favorite pieces of jewelry with her massive 345 million followers on Instagram.

Kylie, 24, used the classic and popular method to clean a skull-shaped silver ring – bought in her teens.

The billionaire opted for an effective and inexpensive cleaning trick after a quick Google search as she followed the tip from Happy House Cleaning.

The cleaning tip says: “Put silver items in an appropriately sized bowl and cover them with white distilled vinegar.

“Add baking soda to bowl – approximate ratio is 4 tablespoons of baking soda per cup of vinegar.”

Once the white vinegar and baking soda are combined, the solution will make an effective cleaning solution for your jewelry.

The instructions state that you should “leave the silver in the mix” for at least an hour to optimize your results.

After the time is up, you should “wash it with clean water” and then dry the item with a “soft cotton cloth”.

At the large supermarket retailer Aldi, a bottle Bramwells Distilled Vinegar available for purchase at a bargain price of just 29p.

Aldi’s The Pantry Bicarbonate Of Soda will only cost 59p, total cleanup hack is 88p.

However, Kylie used Arm and Hammer’s Pure Baking Soda, which costs just £3.43 at select retailers like Amazon.

This simple yet effective cleaning tip has been a popular tradition in households for many years and is even effective at cleaning appliances like ovens, washing machines, and even clogged drains.
