Kylie Minogue will not appear in Comic Relief after testing positive for coronavirus.
The pop superstar, 53, says she is “sorry” to miss the annual charity broadcast but that she has recovered from the virus.
She will appear in a sketch alongside the cast of the BBC comedy Ghosts, which stars Charlotte Ritchie and Kiell Smith-Bynoe.

However, she encourages fans to join her in watching TV coverage from home.
It comes after comedian Joel Dommett was forced to pull out of late-night show The Great Comic Relief Prizeathon alongside AJ Odudu after testing positive.
He will be replaced by TV star Vernon Kay.
Minogue tweeted: “Sorry to miss my planned visit to #BBCGHosts Button House for #ComicRelief2022 as I am recovering from Covid.
“However, I WILL follow @BBCOne 7pm Friday to see what @comicrelief has in store for us! Don’t forget to follow and support the incredible work they do! ”
The Comic Relief Prizeathon will follow BBC News At Ten and continue the Red Nose Day celebrations.
Sir Lenny Henry, David Tennant, Paddy McGuinness and Zoe Ball were previously announced as the main fundraiser of Red Nose Day, which will be broadcast for the first time from BBC studios in Salford.
The Great Comic Relief Prizeathon airs on BBC One and iPlayer at 10.35pm on Fridays with a special broadcast of The Red Nose Day Comic Relief from 7pm.
