The Labor Party in Malta is poised for a landslide victory in the island nation’s general election local media.
prime minister Robert Abel confirmed the victory on Sunday after the count of ballots submitted the previous day showed his party had won by a margin of 30,000 votes.
This is Labour’s third consecutive victory and puts them on course for another five years in power. Just a few 85 percent of eligible voters who appeared lowest number in a general election since the island’s independence.
