The royals shone on a hot Gold Cup afternoon as Zara and Mike Tindall and Princess Anne greeted racegoers who are expected to experience temperatures of 29C at the famous Ascot course in Berkshire
Zara and Mike Tindall added some glamor to a sultry Ladies Day at Royal Ascot.
On Gold Cup day, the stars added some extra sparkle as the event once again received the Royal Seal of Approval.
As the mercury hit 29C, racegoers were too impressively dressed in an incredible color show on one of the warmest days on the UK racing calendar in many years.
Princess Anne and Zara attended the procession, which the Queen was unable to attend.
They waved to the crowd as they rounded the world-famous course in Berkshire.
The Princess Royal was escorted by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence with Daniel Chatto, Lady Sarah Chatto and the Viscount the Viscountess Brookeborough in the second carriage.
The Duke and Duchess of Bedford, Sir Johnny Weatherby and Lady Weatherby followed closely behind.
TV duo Jeremy Kyle and Richter Rinder were hoping to find some winners, with soccer pundit Chris Kamara among the celebrities attending that afternoon.
