Irish musicians Aslan and Roisin Murphy are set to perform alongside Ryan Tubridy for tonight’s The Late Late Show Ukrainian special.
With the help of the Irish Red Cross, this week the show will be raising funds for the crisis in Ukraine.
The appeal hopes to raise vital funds for humanitarian assistance that will help those directly affected by Russia’s ongoing attacks on the country.
Ukrainians living in Ireland will speak to Ryan about their homeland and concerns for their relatives who still live there.
Aslan and Roisin Murphy will perform as part of the fundraiser, while the singer-songwriter discusses how she recently canceled two concert dates in Russia.
Speaking of tonight’s show, Ryan said: “We’re going to put Ukraine on the program, we’re going to try to raise some money and maybe even morale for Ukrainians in this country and let them know that we stand in solidarity with them.”
Hollywood actor Alan Cumming, who starred in circle of friends and gold eyewill also be on the show to share his current thoughts on the humanitarian crisis.
The Late Late Show airs Friday evenings at 9.35pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
