Laura Whitmore cuts her hair before filming Aftersun

Laura Whitmore went to a beauty salon for a skin session after bashing fans who said she was barely working.

The Love Island host took to Instagram Stories to share the condition of her hair with her followers, as she says she barely has time to get a haircut because she’s so busy.

“My hair is out of control,” she complained as she ran a hand through her blond locks.

“I haven’t had a chance to cut it yet. And today… is the day,” Laura said impressively to the camera, while grimacing in front of the mirror.

She later shared a clip of herself getting a haircut at Salon64 in London, but didn’t give her eager followers an update on her hair transformation.

Her trip to the salon comes shortly after she was heavily criticized by Love Island fans, who accused her of not doing much hosting the ITV2 dating show.

Laura took to TikTok to address negative comments about her presentation skills and told her followers that she soon removed the negativity.

“Let’s get this out of the way, then we can enjoy those juicy morsels! See you Monday,” she wrote, along with a clip of her responding to some scathing comments.

She hits back at replies claiming she’s ‘boring’

“I think it’s ridiculous that Laura flies back and forth – sending guests there!” The first comment was read, prompting Laura to clarify: “The mansion is Mallorca and the Aftersun is London.

“This is the situation for any host, it has always been. If I could stay in Mallorca, I would. But now, I’m flying again [sic] and MORE EFFECTIVE in bringing us new guests and audiences every week. I have it in my contract to offset my carbon footprint,” she explains.

Responding to a viewer who said she had the ‘easiest job on the phone’ and was paid ‘£50k a minute’, Laura set the double standard, as no one asked her husband, Iain Sterling, who recounts Love Island, how much do you earn?

Some viewers weren’t happy when Laura returned as host

“First, Iain never cared about how much money he made. Why don’t we like women who make money? I wish I earned what was written in the press! I only get paid on the days I work,” she protested.

Laura says it’s “tired” to read all the comments that say she needs to be fired from the show, saying it happens “every year”.

She also addressed criticism that she was “too boring”, as one viewer accused her of being a bad presenter.

“Why didn’t she ask more? What’s up with all those pauses!? ‘ they complained.

“Drama darling! If I was on host duty, I would have a lot of jokes,” Laura began.

“But I can’t. I need to be as carefree as possible and trust the process. Last year with social distancing, I couldn’t even hug them! And I’m a hugger,” she said. said more.
