Lautaro Martinez’s agent gives an answer to Arsenal and Man Utd transfer interest

Lautaro Martinez has been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer but his agent has spoken out about whether his future will lie with Inter Milan

Lautaro Martinez’s agent Alejandro Camaño has spoken about the Inter Milan striker’s future amid potential transfer interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Argentine has been in excellent form this season, scoring 21 goals in 45 games. He also scored in the Champions League round of 16 second leg against Liverpool in March. According to The Times, United and Arsenal are both interested in a summer jump for Martinez. The 24-year-old has been linked with a move from Inter since helping the club to their first Serie A title in 11 years.

Martinez scored 19 goals and provided 11 assists, forming a dangerous partnership with Romelu Lukaku as Antonio Conte’s side edged Juventus and Napoli into first place. Lukaku and Martinez were both tipped to leave the I Nerazzurri last summer but it was only the former who got his move when the Belgian joined Chelsea.

However, Martinez has attracted even more interest from a slew of clubs across Europe, with Atletico Madrid also in the running to sign him. When asked about his players’ futures, Campano acknowledges that he is one of the most talented forwards in the world.

He said of Mundo Deportivo: “Today we just want to be champions at Inter and then God will say. He’s comfortable, he’s fine. But we don’t interfere with what the clubs want, we know that. ” what Lautaro wants to do, namely to become champion with Inter and have a good World Cup, that’s the only thing Lauti has in mind, God will say the rest.

Regarding his future, he added: “Lauti will bring us a lot of joy for years to come, wherever he goes he will be an entertainer. He will be successful wherever he is, he will certainly do well. Hopefully he plays in a great team and can compete in competitions like the Champions League.”

These comments suggest that Martinez could stay at Inter next season. The club are in a title race with city rivals AC Milan but have already secured Champions League football.

Meanwhile, United will all but miss qualifying for the competition while Arsenal are on pole and fourth. This could tempt Martinez to join the Gunners, especially given that he’s likely to be their No.9 pick as Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazetta are out of contract this summer.
