Leandro Trossard produced a freezing finish to kill West Ham.
The Seagulls have seven points from nine thanks to yesterday’s impressive 2-0 win at the London Stadium.
Trossard’s goal was added to an Alexis Mac Allister penalty to take the points.
The Belgium star said: “I think everyone knows how difficult it is to even score goals against them (West Ham), they are a solid side.
“We tried to react after the change and we did it well.
“It’s a credit to our boys to get this incredible away win.”
Pascal Gross sent Trossard clear as he clattered off unfortunate Hammers defender Kurt Zouma, who was also at fault leading up to the penalty.
Trossard said: “It’s a beautiful film, of course.
“I yelled at him and without thinking he snapped it and it was perfect for me to end it.”
“I always try to stay calm when I get in front of the goalkeeper and that’s how I try to do it and luckily it went in. “I don’t think we have to overtake each other. Last year we had a really good start to the season, then we had a bad period so we just have to keep pushing for those points.”
