There’s nothing new about accidentally running into exploits in a game – or looking for them, for that matter – as we’ve recently seen with Elden Ring’s false warps and other glitches. It is no different with LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The game has been out in the wild for two days, and players have already found a pretty amusing but handy exploit to play with.
Red Orb gained weight Twitter to share the exploit and immediately named it ‘Child Flight’. It’s quite an apt name, there’s no denying that.
The clip shows Qui-Gon Jinn repeatedly attacking young Anakin with his lightsaber in the Federal District, and it soon becomes clear that this version of Anakin is immune to friendly fire. So, as Red Orb discovered, if he keeps hitting him, momentum is gained that allows Qui-Gon Jinn to fly over a room.
So, kids. At least this kid doesn’t take damage from friendly fire, so I found my test dummy. Sidenote: you can use kids to cross big pits and voids. I call this Child Flight @ddx_exe pic.twitter.com/rkTzSQDNr9

It’s not uncommon for kids to be immune to damage in video games, and this exploit from The Skywalker Saga essentially grants you a training dummy that you can use to test combos or traverse trivial environments.
While we can’t fly through space like the Millennium Falcon or any of our other ships, this morally dubious exploit can help with a risky jump or two, that’s for sure. I wouldn’t make a habit of using this though, or you’ll be tricked into joining the dark side before you know it.
If you want to try it yourself, you can unlock young Anakin (and more characters) by playing Episode 1 of the Skywalker saga. There are also many ups and downs in the federal district where you can test the exploit!
