The golf attraction will include three Lego-themed golf courses, all indoor, suitable year-round and in all weather.

It will be available as part of the park entrance and will accommodate guests who wish to stay overnight.

If approved, the golf course will be built on one of the existing parking lots next to the theme park.

Legoland bosses have drawn up plans to deal with concerns about a New Kent tourist attraction called London Resort – dubbed the Disneyland of the UK – will drag guests away.

The London Resort is a £2.5 billion project, originally slated to open in 2019, but due to the pandemic, disagreements with locals and wildlife protection laws , that date has been pushed back to 2025.

Legoland bosses have come up with new attractions in an attempt to improve its game.

The plans for the new golf attraction were presented at a meeting of the Windsor Town Forum, where Legoland advisory consultant David Pugh explained what the new attraction would involve.

“This is going to be a new kind of attraction,” he said.

“This will be available for guests staying overnight to enjoy in the evening. It will also be available as part of the park entrance and all is well, we very much hope to welcome guests from the season.” spring 2023 onwards.”

“This is meant to attract more people to the local area and not just enjoy the warmer weather.”

The plans will soon be submitted to the Royal Council of Windsor and Maidenhead, which will decide whether to start work.

But if that gets you in the mood to visit Legoland, there’s no need to wait until next year.

The theme park is offering short breaks with one-day park admission from £50pp for the February half term.
