Lengthy construction sites are causing delays on the A27

ROADWORKS continue to cause delays on the A27 between Worthing and Lancing.

The AA has warned of delays of up to eight minutes on the westbound A27 Upper Brighton Road between Dankton Lane and Charmandean Lane.

It warned drivers to expect an average speed of five miles per hour.

There are also severe delays of up to 13 minutes on eastbound Crockhurst Hill between the A27 Arundel Road and the A27.

There are reports of congestion on the A27 in both directions between Lancing and the Grove Lodge roundabout.

The reason for this are temporary traffic lights on the A259 near Lancing due to road works.
