Lewis Capaldi joked about his active sex life when he appeared nervously at the Isle of Wight festival over the weekend.
The 25-year-old singer made headlines during a four-day music event on Saturday night, where he performed for thousands of fans and festival goers.
However, the male singer hinted that he was very stressed when he stepped on stage for the first time in many years – having to take a break from performing due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The male singer admitted he was ‘grossed’ on stage, but delighted the audience when he performed cheeky jokes at his own expense.

Based on Sun on Sunday, Lewis stepped onto the stage and declared, “I’m so tired of this.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve done a gig like this, that’s what I tell every girl I’ve had a one-night stand with. Yeah, I’ve had sex, lots of times.”
He added: “This is going to be fun but I am very nervous. This is my first time covering a festival and if I accept it, it will be the last. ”
It was also reported that Lewis said he had no new music to perform for his fans because he was “too lazy” to write any during the lockdown.

Late last year it was reported that Lewis had drafted Ryan Tedder to help him write new songs for his much-anticipated second album.
Ryan – who co-wrote songs for Adele and Beyonce – exclaimed: “I was playing the songs an hour ago in the car and it was like goosebumps!”
“He can sing a random song in Spanish and it still gives me goosebumps. He’s just too good.”
Meanwhile, Lewis’ IoW Festival isn’t the first time he’s attracted attention for what he’s said in front of a microphone in recent months.
Last year, he caused controversy when he stepped on stage at the Brit Awards and released a sweaty tone – prompting ITV broadcasters to rush to hit the eraser button.
He greeted the fans: “Hello motherf *** ers!” before he was hastily muted by the broadcaster as they broadcast the glitchy event.
The singer was then heard another verse before he quipped: “I’m f***ing s-“
Again, he was muted and then said, “Sorry, I’m reading a card here… how’s everyone? It’s great to be here tonight.
“Honestly, it’s nice to be out of the house,” he was cut off again.

The singer was later heard back as he said: “Let’s hope this year is bigger and better than ever for British music and obviously let’s hope Scotland win the Euros too!”
However, his football commentary did not diminish as the audience booed the singer about his comment.
