Tom Parker was buried today after sadly passing away last month at the age of 33. The Wanted singer is survived by his wife Kelsey and their two children, who have invited fans of the late star to take them outside to celebrate his life

Liam Payne arrives at Tom Parker’s funeral

Former One Direction singer Liam Payne, 28, led the famous faces who paid their respects to Tom Parker on Wednesday morning.

Reality TV star James “Arg” Argent and Olympian Rebecca Adlington were also present as the late star’s coffin was carried in a horse-drawn carriage through picturesque Petts Wood.

At the Wanted singer’s funeral, heartbroken fans of the singer lined the high street to say their goodbyes as Tom’s tearful wife Kelsey followed her beloved husband’s hearse for a final goodbye this morning.

Spectators and fans were moved to tears as Tom’s bandmates Max George, Jay McGuinness, Siva Kaneswaran and Nathan Sykes carried the coffin into the church along with two other male mourners.

Tom passed away on Wednesday, March 30, at the age of 33 surrounded by loved ones and bandmates, after a two-year battle with stage 4 glioblastoma

Liam shed a tear as he left the service earlier this morning after paying his respects to the parish church of Saint Francis of Assisi in Petts Wood, south east London.

The Strip That Down singer was one of the many stars who performed at Tom’s Stand Up To Cancer benefit concert last year.

After learning of Tom’s tragic death last month, the former X Factor contestant wrote on Twitter: “Heartbroken to hear from Tom. He was so full of life and humor and the memories I have of him will stay with me forever.

“Sending my thoughts to his family and brothers on The Wanted.”

Former TOWIE star James, 34, cut a somber figure as he attended church with his ex-girlfriend Lydia Bright, while Rebecca, 33, donned dark shades while she swam while holding on to her partner Andy Parsons.

During the service, Tom’s wife Kelsey paid tribute to their “soul mate” in a pre-recorded message played to the parish church of St. Francis of Assisi. Mourners heard her cry as she said, “If only love could have saved you, had you lived forever”.

Max of The Wanted, 33, also gave a moving eulogy, telling Tom’s loved ones he will “always be a brother to me and my bandmates” and “always remember his laugh”.

Tom, who died at the age of 33 from a rare brain tumor, was driven around picturesque Petts Wood before being laid to rest surrounded by best friends and his bandmates.

Ms Kelsey briefly left the church to watch her late husband’s bandmates carry his coffin inside, while hundreds of fans burst into tears as they watched from afar

Before the boys left with the coffin, a gentle piano version of Celine Dion’s hit single My Heart Will Go On played as the band approached before the song transitioned to Oasis’ Champagne Supernova.

Hundreds of fans lined the nearby streets at Kelsey’s request as the father of two made his final trip to the church before his funeral.
