Lily James stars as Pamela Anderson alongside Sebastian Stan as Tommy Lee in the Disney+ series Pam & Tommy, ending with this week’s finale
Lily James can’t be missed as Pamela Anderson – or so it seems, as her voice seems to have morphed into American stardom by mistake recently.
The ex, 32, – who is from Esher in Surrey and is very British, with a matching accent – played little Baywatch, 54, in the Disney+ series Pam & Tommy.
However, as she sparkled in a revealing gold ensemble on the red carpet for the series finale in recent Los Angeles, her voice took on transatlantic seriousness.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she talked about what it was like to play Pam on screen, and said in a very strong American tone: “There is always a great responsibility to play someone, a person. real people, especially with Pam.”

At this point, she adjusted the time herself and realized she was making the audience’s heart flutter. “God, I’m speaking with an American accent and I don’t know why!” she cried. “Oh my God!”
After appearing in the television series Downton Abbey for a few seasons, Lily got her film break with the lead role in Disney’s live-action film adaptation of Cinderella (2015).
