Lindsay Lohan has fans on social media in a frenzy thanks to multiple comments about a “baby bump” and pregnancy.

As Britney Spears is set to give birth to her third child, fans are speculating that the noughties icon Lindsay might also be pregnant – with the actress fueling the rumors thanks to her social media activities.

The Mean Girls actress, 35, recently celebrated her engagement to Beau Bader Shammas in November 2021 with a party – and shared a snap of herself and her husband-to-be posing next to a cake on Instagram last week.

As the star, who is currently making a movie comeback, beamed alongside her partner, fans were quick to ask if the happy couple had more to celebrate than just their engagement.

“Omg a baby bump,” one follower commented under the snap, with Lindsay “liking” the comment – sending her fans wild.

“She liked my comment so I think it’s official,” the original poster added to the thread, with another adding, “I think that’s what she’s really showing us… She’s been engaged since November 2021.” .”

Another comment to get a like from Lindsay on Instagram read: “Baby next? [three heart-eyes emojis]”.

Lindsay has “liked” a number of comments from fans under the post in question, not all of which are pregnancy-related, but many messages from fans remain “unliked”.

The Mirror has reached out to Lindsay representatives for comment.

While Lindsay is yet to make an explicit comment on her family plans, that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating what pregnancy could mean for her long-awaited comeback.

“I’m going to lose my mind if the rumors are true that Lindsay Lohan is pregnant (especially if she’s about to make a professional comeback),” one fan tweeted Monday, as speculation began to mount.

It was announced last year that the former child star would be making her movie comeback in a Netflix Christmas special.

The 35-year-old star will star as a “spoiled hotel heiress” in the festive rom-com Falling For Christmas, which will be available to stream later this year.

In addition to her acting comeback, Lindsay is busy with voiceover work and podcast hosting duties.

Last week it was confirmed that the multi-talented star will be part of the brand new reality dating series called Lovestruck High.

The Prime Video series will transport 15 British singles to an American high school setting for a second chance at love.

Announcing the exciting project on Instagram, both Prime and Lindsay wrote: “Your next summer date is coming up hot. We couldn’t be more excited that Lindsay Lohan is the voice of our brand new reality dating show @lovestruckhigh.

“From May 18th we are bringing 15 British singles back to school for a second chance at finding love.”

The show’s contestants will use their time in the new environment to find “the one.”

Their goal is to find the perfect person to take to “Prom” and they get a chance to be crowned Prom King and Prom Queen and even win $100,000 (£76,200).
