Little Mix said that they won’t stand in each other’s way to solo No. 1 after separating

Little Mix has won five No1 singles and won three Brit Awards from the seven albums they’ve released together and is currently gearing up for solo stardom.

Little Mix has confirmed that they won’t be trying to compete for the number one solo spot after announcing that they would be separating after 11 years together.
The group has earned an impressive five number-one singles, as well as three Brit Awards, from the seven albums they have released together.
But now that the group has decided that it’s time for them to part ways, they just hope that they don’t stand in the way of each other to take the No.
The group also swore that even though they broke up, they still want to reunite at some point in the future.
Members Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall said they were managing their solo releases so they weren’t releasing new music simultaneously.
Perrie, 28 years old, told Sun : “We all said we would let each other know when we were going to release so we wouldn’t clash in the charts. We support each other, not compete with each other. ”
Leigh-Anne added: “We’re very close and that’s the thing. We will all be communicating with each other about this all the time. “
The 30-year-old says their friendship is too important to be jeopardized and they want to make sure they don’t get in each other’s way once they start their solo careers.
Little Mix became the most successful girl band in the UK after participating in the X Factor together.
In the 11 years since their founding, they’ve sold over 50 million records worldwide and boast more than 22 million Spotify listeners each month.
They were prepared for the final performance of the Confetti tour, which sold out.
It is also their first time performing as a trio since fourth member Jasy Nelson left the band in 2020.
“Even though it’s an epic, epic show, I think knowing people are watching it makes it feel incredibly intimate,” Perrie said.
The concert will be streamed live from London’s O2 Arena with the world participating, and will be the last chance to see the group together before they begin their hiatus.
Jade told The Sun: “You can’t deny our relationship – whenever anyone comes to watch the show or see us in interviews or on social media, it’s obvious that we I can’t really live without each other.”
The group has confirmed that they have plans to reunite in the future but will be taking a hiatus from activities so they can pursue solo projects.
Little Mix made history in 2021 when they became the first girl group to win Best British Band in the UK, using the moment to pay tribute to other girl groups that came before them.
