Little Mix sings in tears at the emotional final show before the break

The emotional members of Little Mix struggled to sing through tears in their final performance before taking a break from the band.
Singer Perrie Edwards, who said she had a “constant lump” in her throat, began crying just minutes into the show.
Long stretches of “Between Us” fell silent as Edwards – along with bandmates Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – seemingly gave up and pointed their mics toward the audience.
Edwards had asked the crowd at London’s O2 for help before beginning the song.
“It’s about our journey, it’s about our love for each other, and we never get through it without crying,” she said.
“Can you help us sing the next one?”
The three now intend to focus on solo projects after “10 amazing years” together, though they insist Little Mix won’t part ways.
None of them mentioned Jesy Nelson, a founding member of the group, who left in 2020 after collapsing in hospital.
Nelson revealed in October last year that she wasn’t speaking to her former bandmates, but added that there was “no bad blood on my part.”

The group appeared to be enjoying performing in front of audiences after two years of lockdown, with Pinnock declaring: “It’s what we do to get back on this stage.”
Edwards thanked the crowd – some of whom also burst into tears – and said in a halting voice: “Every one of you has made such a huge impact on our lives and we wouldn’t be standing here if it weren’t for you.”
“I have to pull myself together, I’m so sorry.”
She then introduced the band’s next song, “Happiness.”
