According to manager Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool will not sign Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland.
The Norway international is set to become one of the most sought-after signings of the year if a £64million release clause enters his contract, despite Klopp ruling Liverpool out of the race for his signature. The Reds boss says the “numbers involved are just crazy” as he said his side had “no chance” of landing Haaland.
It comes as Mohamed Salah was joined by Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson in a 2am ritual after going 3-1 Champions League win against Benfica. And Jurgen Klopp has shared his thoughts Manchester City before the crunch of the reds First League Title showdown at Etihad on Sunday.

Klopp claims Man City
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has described Manchester City as the “best in the world” ahead of the two sides’ clash this weekend.

And Klopp appears to be easing the pressure on his players ahead of the tie, insisting even a win might not secure them the title.

Salah’s 2 o’clock ritual
Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah took part in a late night recovery session alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson following their 3-1 Champions League win over Benfica.
The Reds winger was pictured with his team-mates in a swimming pool just hours after the win, which helped Liverpool set foot in the Champions League semi-finals in just weeks before the second leg at Anfield. Salah briefed his social media followers in the early hours of Wednesday morning to show the Liverpool players in their recovery session – and it’s far from the first time the Egyptian has attended treatment following a big game.
Haaland transfer excluded
The Norway international has impressed with 80 goals in 83 games for BVB since arriving in Germany in 2020. That form has seen him linked with a move to some of the top clubs in Europe when a £64million release clause enters his contract in the summer transfer window, but Klopp says the striker is due for the red ones will still be too expensive.
Klopp said of Haaland: “We won’t go there.”
