Liverpool midfielder Fabinho has delivered a cheeky swipe at Everton’s Richarlison after the Reds’ 2-0 win in Sunday’s Merseyside derby.

Andy Robertson’s second goal of the season and Divock Origi’s sixth goal in nine derby games ended a crucial goal First League win for Liverpool to keep them on the hunt for a historic quad this season. And after the result, Fabinho took aim at Richarlison as he took to social media to celebrate the win.

It comes like everton Ace Anthony Gordon has made an awkward about-face after withholding his penalty claim during the derby against Liverpool. And Alisson’s wife reacted to his imitation of Jordan Pickford in the closing stages of Sunday’s game.

Alisson’s wife reacts to ‘Pickford moment’

Liverpool goalkeeper Allison’s wife has reacted to his antics in the closing minutes of Sunday’s Merseyside derby.

The Reds shot stopper earned huge cheers from Anfield fans as he went down catching the ball – in a clear impression from Jordan Pickford. The Everton goalkeeper went down with the ball in his arms to help the clock tick down when the score was 0-0 – much to the annoyance of the home side.

Alisson then poked fun at Pickford towards the end of the game, with a clear impression of the England No1. And after the game, Alisson’s wife Natalia Becker continued to ‘like’ clips and posts about her husband’s antics Twitter.

Gordon makes a penalty claim U-turn

Everton striker Anthony Gordon has admitted he “can see why the referee didn’t give a penalty” after watching an incident he was involved in with Joel Matip in Sunday’s Merseyside derby.

The 21-year-old was booked to go diving prior to the involvement with Matip after he pitted after trying to get past Naby Keita. And Gordon has now responded to both incidents, which may have helped turn the tie in Everton’s favour, as he insisted he did not dive to try and win a penalty on either occasion.

Fabinho’s cheeky dig at Richarlison

Liverpool’s Fabinho took a cheeky dig at Brazilian team-mate Richarlison after Sunday’s Merseyside derby.

The Reds won 2-0 to boost their Premier League title hopes and keep their rivals in the relegation zone after Burnley’s 1-0 win wolves. Everton’s Richarlison ended home support during the tie, who taunted the Brazilian ace for his downfall, which was a clear sign he believed he made the best of challenges.

And Fabinho seems to have agreed with this assessment when he posted a photo Instagram by Richarlison, who holds his face tight as Fabinho slides the ball past him. “What a victory!” read the caption. “To the end guys!”
