Jurgen Klopp on the victory in Southampton
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been urged by Anfield legend Steve Nicol to stop complaining about the club’s game build-up.
The German has regularly spoken out about the toll this season has taken on his players and was open again following the Reds’ quick turnaround after their FA Cup win over Southampton three days later. But Nicol has told Klopp he should take the job at Southampton if he doesn’t want his players to play in so many games every year.
It comes as the Reds boss makes a huge management mistake as Sadio Mane’s contract expires next year. And Cesc Fabregas has urged Liverpool to sign three of his Monaco team-mates.

But according to Nicol, pile-ups are nothing new and “if you’re as good as they are and as successful as they are, you’re going to have a busy schedule.”
