Liz Hurley has sent a sweet message to cricketer Shane Warne’s youngest daughter following his shocking death on Friday at the age of 52.
Summer, 20, shared a moving tribute to her late father following his death of “natural causes” in Koh Samui, Thailand.
She posted some sweet photos and clips of herself and her dad along with lengthy captions.
In one image, a little Summer girl and her topless father beamed for the camera, while in a humorous video Shane pulled her face up and told her daughter she was a “monkey” cheeky” for filming him.
Shane’s ex, Liz, 56, responded to the post by declaring: “I love you, Summer. Your dad adores you.”
Summer, whose mother is the ex-wife of Australian sportsman Simone Callahan, is one of his three children.
He and Simone also share Brooke, 24, and Jackson, 23.
An emotional Summer wrote on Instagram: “No words. It feels like I’m dreaming, waiting for someone to wake me up and tell me you’re okay.
“This can’t be real life. How could life be so cruel to the most beautiful people on earth.
“There’s no way I’ll never hear your soft voice say to me ‘everything will be all right’ or how ‘proud’ you are of me, or simply say ‘good night. delicious’, ‘good morning’, or ‘I love you’.”
She went on to say that even though her father has passed away, she will “treasure the memories until my time runs out” and says she will always love him.
Summer ended the post by saying, “Love your little girl SJ and I will continue to make you proud.”
Piers Morgan also commented on her post to send a message of condolences. He wrote: “So sorry for your terrible loss, Summer. Your dad was a wonderful man. My deepest condolences to you and all the family.”
Elizabeth’s son Damian also paid tribute to the star on Sunday just days after Shane was confirmed dead on a “sons holiday”.
The 19-year-old model called the cricket legend a “daddy character” and labeled him “one of the greatest men I’ve ever known” in a heartfelt Instagram post.
Damian writes: ‘I’m still struggling with this… SW was a father figure to me for most of my formative years and truly one of the best men I’ve ever known.
“My heart is broken. Thinking and sending love to all of SW’s family.”
