Liz Truss says she’ll do things differently even if ‘not everyone is for it’

Protesters were removed during the Conservative Party Congress in Birmingham Liz Truss‘ speech.

Greenpeace protesters holding a flag reading ‘Who voted for it?’ were thrown out of the hall after disturbing Prime Ministers Liz Truss‘s first Tory conference speech as party leader.

Conservative viewers stood up and booed after the Prime Minister’s speech was interrupted before shouting “Go on Liz” and giving her a huge round of applause to urge her to go on.

The protest angered party members who chanted “out out out” throughout.

Liz Truss admits her job as a PM is ‘huge’

Liz Truss admitted the scale of the challenge she faces as PM is “immense” as she mentioned the war in Russia and Ukraine, the recovery from Covid and the ongoing global economic crisis.

Truss says her administration will do things differently, although “not everyone will be for it,” while eyebrows are raised at her radical new direction in politics.

She said: “As the past few weeks have shown, it’s going to be difficult.

“Whenever there is change, there is disruption.

“Not everyone will be for it.

“But everyone will benefit from the result – a growing economy and a better future.”

She added, “I have three priorities for our economy: growth, growth and growth.” Liz Truss says she’ll do things differently even if ‘not everyone is for it’
