Royal: Lizzie Cundy tore off her Meghan Markle mask

Former WAG Lizzie Cundy has been thrown from the set after ripping off ex-girlfriend Meghan Markle’s mask and declaring: “No more royal”.

Lizzie, 54, was appearing on James Whale’s Talk TV channel, when she interrupted a segment to rip off the mask and create a jibe.

Jason Cundy’s ex-wife was singing Land of Hope and Glory, along with Su Pollard, when it was gathered by a man wearing the Duchess of Sussex’s mask.

Host James expressed displeasure at the prank, with Lizzie then stepping over, removing the mask from the collector and tearing it up.

She said: “No no not royal! Not royal anymore!”

Appearing in amazement, radio host James asked: “No, what are you doing?”

Watching Lizzie tear up the offending item, he shouted: “Get out, both of you out!

Lizzie left as James took his seat. Looking at the camera, he said: “I am so sorry and embarrassed Your Majesty.

“I’m not going to let them work again, this is Talk Television and the James Whale show.”

Meghan and her husband Harry, who now live in the US, have returned to the UK to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this weekend.

While watching Trooping the Colour, the couple playfully told several royal children including Savannah and Isla Phillips and Mia and Lena Tindall to be quiet as they watched the parade at Horse Guards Parade.

Meghan looked elegant in a navy blue dress and a large hat as Princess Beatrice’s husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi looked on. Meanwhile, images show both Harry and Meghan chatting with the Queen’s cousin, the Duke of Kent.

However, there was no appearance of the couple on the balcony of Buckingham Palace afterwards for the RAF leaflet after the Queen decided only working royals should appear.

The pair were also present at the National Thanksgiving at St Paul’s.

Talk to daily star, Lizzie shared her views on Meghan’s return over the four-day weekend.

She said: “I know that the palace is very worried, they are more worried about her than Andrew because they are worried about what will be said.

“They worry about what will be used in interviews or in memoirs.”
