Logan Paul is hit with a lawsuit over CryptoZoo’s failings

A GROUP of Texas CryptoZoo players have filed a class action lawsuit against Logan Paul over the game.

The lawsuit alleges fraud, breach of contract, unjust enrichment, violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) and negligence in a token sale for a Web3 game.

CryptoZoo promised its players to buy and sell NFTs with its new cryptocurrency in the form of in-game eggs.

The eggs should be able to hatch different NFT animals, which in turn could breed new NFTs.

Logan Paul claims that the team invested millions in the game, which was missing features when it was released.

While Paul still maintains that all promised features will eventually be included in the game.

He has also offered compensation to some players who still own NFTs.

The game had rough development when one of the developers fled to Switzerland with the game’s code.

Another founder, Jake ‘The Crypto King’ Greenbaum, admits to selling millions of dollars worth of cryptocurrency and has since been removed from the team.

The lawsuit is aimed at both Paul, his manager Jeffery Levin, and other founders of the team, such as Greenbaum.

One of the attorneys handling the lawsuit tweeted: “We have officially filed a class action lawsuit in the Western District of Texas against Logan Paul et al. submitted. for the CryptoZoo fiasco.

“This is in addition to the numerous cases being arbitrated on this matter.”

YouTuber Stephen ‘Coffeezilla’ Findeisen previously released an investigative report alleging several shady practices against Paul.

The main accusation that Paul has not disproved is that the group of founders secretly launched the game in order to buy the crypto coin at a lower rate.

Most founders then held on to the currency to artificially inflate its value.

Paul and his team have not commented on the lawsuit at the time of writing.
