Logan Paul was advised to have a “sick” boxing match with Paddy Pimblett after challenging the rising star to a UFC bout.
Paul recently competed in a prestigious wrestling event Wrestlemania 38, where he continued his martial arts venture after three clashes in the boxing ring. The YouTube star is currently unsure of his future but admitted he would love to take on Pimblett in the octagon.
UFC bantamweight Sean O’Malley believes Paul should pursue a career in boxing after noticing his huge potential in his recent show Floyd Mayweather. “What if they boxed, Logan vs. Paddy? That would be sick,” O’Malley said on an episode of his Bromalley show.
“Watching Logan fight Floyd, I think this motherf***** has some serious f***** potential, like serious potential if he really wanted to box. I said to him [Paul] “Dana will never do that,” it doesn’t matter how big the fight is, if Logan goes out there and beats Paddy, he can’t be a star. Logan can box and he can really wrestle, it just has to dedicate months to training.”
There is a significant height difference between Paul and Pimblett which would be the biggest obstacle to meeting Paul weighing 185 pounds. Pimblett struggles at 155 pounds in the UFC though has gained over 45 pounds since his most recent winner y at the London event of the promotion.
Paul believes a starting weight of 185lbs could be agreed between the two and hailed the British star for his entertaining personality throughout his rise. “I figured out who I would like to fight if I were to do a UFC match. Paddy the Baddy (Pimblett),” Paul told dem MMA lesson. “They say he’s next Conor McGregor That’s right, he’s super charismatic and damn entertaining. He’s ambitious and young like me and has a really loud mouth. I like the way he can perform.

“I think I could have him on my podcast and say straight to him, ‘I’d love to fight you in the UFC.’ He could tip the scales at 185 pounds and I could go down to 185 pounds for a UFC match. That’s the only thing I don’t know if I would win, he’s a good fighter and I’ve never had an MMA fight. If I do, of course I think I’ll win.
“But now I’m watching and if I do a UFC fight I have to do it with someone else who can sell tickets. He’s relatively new and he’s young and fun, so I think fans will eat that. ** up. Too busy at the moment but yeah.
Paul confirmed he could return to the boxing ring and accepted the challenge from Brazilian YouTuber Whindersson on social media.
