Loose women: Carol McGiffin jokes about ‘running off course’

Loose Women star Linda Robson has called her co-star Carol McGiffin a ‘miserable cow’.

The 63-year-old ITV star took aim at Carol, 62, during a rather heated debate on the panel earlier this week.

Carol was sharing about her grocery shopping pet being stolen on the show when Linda interrupted and called her ‘damn’.

As the Loose ladies discuss their likes and dislikes about going to the supermarket, Carol admits she hates nothing more than when people at the checkout counter try to make small talk with her.

The unimpressed Loose Women panelist admitted that she despised the scenario so much that she often wished there was a separate lane for those who wanted to talk – and another lane for those who simply wanted to’ in and out’.

Without that, Carol’s co-star poked fun at her and branded her a ‘damn cow’ for not wanting to make small talk with the hard workers in the supermarket.

“Well, you’re not a miserable cow,” Linda clapped her hands in response.

Carol’s admission has also caused quite a bit of controversy on Twitter as some fans flocked to agree with the TV star.

“I’m sorry, but I couldn’t agree more with Carol. I can’t stand it when people try to talk to me. Always keep my headphones on,” one Loose Women viewer tweeted.

“Carol isn’t a miserable cow lol. She’s absolutely right,” another repeated.

“When you’re in a bad mood and all you want is to go buy some milk but don’t have the voucher – don’t tell me haha,” another quipped.

However, the other audience couldn’t help but agree with Linda.

“Go down Carol’s miserable path, and stay there,” one fan raged.

“Linda is right. She’s a miserable cow,” another insisted.

Carol also caused chaos later on Monday’s show when she made another savage remark as she, Linda, Ruth Langsford and Coleen Nolan were discussing whether you should come to someone’s funeral. ex-partner or not.

After sharing their thoughts on the matter, Carol insisted she wouldn’t ‘never mind’ her ex-partner’s funeral.

“I don’t think I’ll actually have an ex that I’m going to have to bother about,” she admits.
