Brenda Edwards reunites with her friends and co-stars as she returns to work for the first time since the death of her son Jamal

Loose Women fans were emotional when Brenda Edwards returned to the board today.
The 48-year-old was reunited with her friends and co-stars as she returned to work for the first time since the death of her son Jamal.
Fans took to Twitter to welcome her back, with one line reading: “So excited to see Brenda back.”
While another commented: “So lovely to see Brenda back on the board today.”
A third tweeted: “Wishing Brenda all the love and strength in the world on her first episode back, huge admiration for her.”
“Welcome back @brenda_edwards It’s hard to get back to work after losing,” another commented.
In an interview with Coleen, Brenda shared how she will never be able to forget the sight of her son dying in her arms.
“One thing that I wanted to say was that I was with him and his sister was with us, we were all at home,” she recalls. “It was unexpected and unexpected when he went into cardiac arrest. Then he came over and held my hand, so I got a little bit of comfort in knowing I was with him.”
“It’s both a comfort and a vision that I’ll never forget.”
Brenda revealed that she has a dedicated bedtime routine for her son to “keep her going”.
“Every morning I wake up – all his photos are obviously still in the house – and I look at him and say, ‘Good morning, baby’ and ‘Good night,’ baby.
“And I think doing that is what keeps me going. He always had this lovely, bright smile, just to shine. He had this hilarious smile. I felt the presence. of him constantly and I know I’ve always been a believer and who believes in it and that’s been a huge consolation for me.”
Brenda said she felt “overwhelmed” by the sheer amount of support they have received following Jamal’s death and that they are “so grateful”.
Jamal left instructions for his mother in the tragic event he was going to die on how to take over his charities and businesses – and even gave instructions for his funeral.
Sharing about the day of her funeral, Brenda said: “When we laid him to rest, it was really beautiful. We looked up at the sky and there was a J – clouds formed the letter J. One the friend took the picture. it.”
Speaking of Jamal’s legacy, she said: “He said, ‘We all die, the goal is not to live forever but to create something as it is meant to be.” And I believe he’s created something he wants, and I’m determined to make sure that happens. That is my goal. ”
