When is the Rings Of Power release date on Amazon Prime?

The new epic drama brings to the screen for the first time JRR Tolkien’s fabled tale of Middle-earth’s Second Age.

The show airs in 240 countries and territories worldwide, with new episodes available weekly.

The first and second episodes of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will be available on Amazon Prime on September 2nd.

After that, new episodes will be made available weekly.

New Lord of The Rings series: Rings of Power cast

The new The Lord of the Rings series follows a cast of well-known and brand-new characters from Middle-earth.

Morfydd Clark, whom you may know from Saint Maud and His Dark Materials, will star as the royal elf Galadriel, played by Cate Blanchett in Peter Jackson’s films.

Scottish actor and My Name Is Joe star Petter Mullen will play King Duran III and the role of Elrond will be filled by Robert Aramayo.

The rest of the cast includes Nazanin Boniadi as Bronwyn, Benjamin Walker as High King Gil-galad, Lenny Henry as Sadoc Burrows, and Cynthia Addai-Robinson as Queen Regent Míriel.

Lord of the Rings Series Budget – How much did it cost?

The budget for the Lord of the Rings series has been quite a talking point.

Total costs are expected to top a staggering $1 billion mark, becoming the most expensive TV show of all time.

Corresponding vanity fairthere are estimates that put a staggering $462 million for the first season alone.

It’s not yet clear how long the show will run, although there have been discussions that it could have up to five seasons.

The final trailer begins with an epic battle scene, with Galadriel saying, “My brother gave his life to hunt down the enemy. His job is mine now.”

Galadriel climbs onto an armored boat, sword in hand, and adds, “Stay with me. Our meeting was no coincidence.”

Over a subsequent montage of some of the show’s key characters, she continues, “Not destiny, not destiny. Ours was the work of something bigger.”

As the trailer continues to show a series of typically dramatic moments, while a voice narrates, “Each of us, each of us, has to decide who we’re going to be.”

A clip shows Halbrand, played by Charlie Vickers, behind bars as he says, “I’m not the hero you’re looking for,” before the trailer switches to Disa telling Durin IV, “One day this will be your kingdom. ”

Galadriel closes the tense trailer by adding, “There’s a storm inside me.”

She is then told, “You have fought Galadriel long enough. Put up your sword.”

To which Galadriel replies, “What shall I be without her?”
