“I want to eat things that I would never normally bother with, like muffins, croissants, and donuts.

“All the things you know you shouldn’t have, but you think they make you feel better, but they don’t.

“Slowly, slowly, slowly over the past few years, I’ve gone from a size 10 to a size 14.”

Lorraine says she’s not feeling her best in her current size and has a red dress she’d love to wear again.

“Everybody says, ‘But you look good! And, yes, I look good — but I don’t feel great,” she said.

“I definitely don’t have a lot of energy, because the more you do, the more energy you have and the classes really gave me that. So I needed a little help, and that’s it. is what WW gave me.

“It’s been heavily updated now, all on the app. It’s easy and it’s all right for you. You don’t even have to weigh yourself if you don’t want to.”

“I want to wear my favorite red dress when I’m about to arrive ITV events, so I thought, ‘Oh, I’ll try this.’

“No chance! It’s not even that it’s unbuttoned, it’s not even over my lap. Before the pandemic hit, I was in on it and it felt good.

“So I ended up wearing a black stretchy dress and I looked absolutely fine, but I didn’t feel good.

“I also had the opportunity to talk to the guys from The Wanted on my show and a button came off my dress during the interview.

“I almost took one of their eyes off! It was hilarious and I don’t expose myself, except for those poor young men! I thought, ‘I need to grab'”.

Lorraine blamed the pandemic and her change of daily routine for the weight gain.

“Although I’m fortunate to still go to work every day, all of our routines are a little different,” she says.

“Looking back at the last two years, it’s like a big blip because we didn’t have weddings or dramatic things during the year.

“I come home from work and walk the dog outside for an hour, but I don’t have any fitness classes.

“I don’t cook at all because I’m a trash cook, although my husband is great. But he will cook these elaborate curries in large portions. And then sweets at night. It’s just the comfort of eating, the comfort of eating, the comfort of eating. “3

Lorraine is currently using some small tweaks from WW to improve her diet.

“Every woman who has been on a diet knows that dieting doesn’t work,” she says.

“You won’t eat cabbage for the rest of your life! I love curries, but what I do now is I use the recipes in the WW app. You just cook them differently or using different materials.

“So those are just small tweaks. But the most important thing to me is that this isn’t about how much space you’re taking up in the world or how much you weigh. It’s about how you feel. .

“Over the last two years, there’s been a time when I’ve woken up and thought, ‘Oh my, it’s all a bit too much!’ So it’s also about mindfulness. It’s not about conforming to anyone else’s idea of what’s beautiful, it’s about how you feel.”
