Lorraine Kelly brutally digs Boris Johnson while presenting the award at the BAFTA TV Awards on Sunday night.
The 62-year-old ITV presenter responded to the Prime Minister after he asked Susanna Reid who Lorraine Kelly was at the end of her Good Morning Britain interview.
The TV presenter was referring to the moment when she walked up to the podium on Sunday night to present the award for News Covered.
The ITV star said: “Hi, and especially hello Boris, I’m Lorraine. Nice to meet you.”
As the GMB barbecue ended, Susanna thanked the Prime Minister for the face-to-face interview in Downing Street and said: “It was a pleasure talking to you. Lorraine is waiting to present all the issues you brought up in this interview. Thank you very much indeed.”

But Boris responded when asked “Who’s Lorraine?”, as he didn’t seem to know that Good Morning Britain was followed by the Scottish presenter’s show on ITV.
Susanna quickly replied, “Lorraine is a legend.”
He then appears to mutter, as the audio cuts off: “Great, great, I don’t want to talk to Lorraine…” as the show starts to air, and Lorraine begins.
Lorraine showed great interest in it when it aired, especially after seeing fans texting her show confusedly.
During her hour-long show after the awkward moment, Lorraine defended Johnson about his misconduct, insisting there was no reason for him to know who she was.
She said: “There were a lot of you, it was funny, reacting to Boris Johnson earlier wondering who I was. I liked the way he said who Lorraine was.
“Why does he have to know who I am? I mean he’s busy in the morning, he won’t follow us even though he can learn a lot as you know.”
Lorraine then commented as her show ended, “What a fun, funny day” before bursting out laughing.
Asked if Boris knew who Lorraine was, the Prime Minister’s official spokesman said: “The Prime Minister was not on the full ITV daytime list this morning, but you will appreciate he has. Some issues need to be resolved.”
From best-scripted shows to everyone’s favorite personality and talk shows, this year’s nominations include such nominations as It’s Sin, Gogglebox and BBC’s Serious Dancing.
The Virgin Media BAFTA TV Awards were once again hosted by The IT Crowd comedian Richard Ayoade.
