Lost Ark adds the Destroyer, along with new raids, new guild activities, South Vern content, and more

Destined for Destruction is in here Lost Ark. The update brings the new advanced destroyer class, the first Legion raid, a new Guardian raid, adds content to South Vern, and includes a number of fixes, balance, and quality of life changes.

This update can be described as comprehensive. Although the Destroyer can hit very hard, lugging this huge hammer around affects attack and movement speed. However, the Destroyer can use three Gravity Cores. By charging and using them, you can create a shield, debuff enemies, or even pull them closer.

There are five new hairstyles for each of the five classes, five pre-made warrior looks and five additional presets with no facial hair and more. Useful when you want to turn a warrior into a destroyer.

And then there are the new raids. The latest form to make it to the western release is the Legion Assault, with Valtan arriving first. Legion Raids are team-based challenges that require intricate teamwork and strategy to defeat a Legion Commander. Because they’re designed to be incredibly challenging, they have checkpoints called gates that save your progress in case you need to try again. Valtan comes with two gates.

The latest Guardian Raid includes Deskaluda, and there are also new Weekly Challenge Guardians, a new version of Guardian Raids. Challenge three Wardens in an increased difficulty format, with one rotating for another weekly. When you figure out how to defeat them, the increased difficulty also means greater rewards.

Other changes in the update include new guild activities. With Island Siege, guilds can now compete against each other in PvP. Not only can you fight against other guilds to achieve goals and fight, there are also activities like races, a snow fight and a PvE competition. There are also raid matches where your guild can team up for a limited-time challenge against the Sylmael Devourer. If you win, you’ll go up the guild leaderboard, but the faster you complete the challenge will also affect your rank.

For those who think South Vern doesn’t have enough content, the continent gets some Chaos Dungeons, Chaos Gate, Secret Dungeons, Ghost Ship, and the Thunderwings Field Boss.
