Lottie Moss reflected on a “crazy year” and suggested her sister, model Kate Moss, “never really supported her” in terms of her career.
the catwalk star, 24, shared a lengthy post on Instagram in which she described how she started 2022 “in the worst place of my life” but is now in “the best place about the spiritual side that I used to have.”
Sharing a series of photos taken by her friend Jessica Anne Woodley, Moss explains her decision to leave fashion modeling.
She wrote: “I know it’s hard for people to understand, but working in a toxic industry at a very young age really affected me, being constantly judged in the newspapers and my every move being watched since then. Since I was 16 years old it has been very difficult. for my mental health.
“I understand that I have come from a very privileged position as the sister of a very famous person but believe it or not that person was never really supportive of me, my parents are amazing but incomprehensible. what I’ve been through and don’t know fully. the extent of what I’ve been through most of the time, I’m mostly alone so I have to navigate this on my own and do the best I can with what I feel I have.
Moss said fashion modeling “wasn’t for me and had its ups and downs but I felt it allowed me to meet some great people and took me to some great places”.
She added that she often struggles with expressing her feelings and doesn’t want her posts to be seen as “poor me”.
“Just remember that in this world everything is relative and remember that everyone goes through their own hurt and experiences that they choose to deal with in their own way, so die. economy,” she added.
Moss, who recently got a face tattoo, signed off the message by writing: “I hope next year will be my best year and thanks for all the support.”
Woodley, who has appeared on the reality TV series Made In Chelsea and now works as a photographer, was among those who responded to the post.
“I’m so proud of your little bean sprouts,” she wrote.
It comes after Moss is reported to have parted ways with modeling agency Storm, with the company removing her page from its website.
