Swapping out a red sofa in the studio for a cold camp covered in creatures, Louise wowed viewers and now her fans can hear her back more often thanks to the project. she’s about to shake hands.
The 53-year-old broadcaster’s new career move will be hosting a podcast, where she’ll interview incredible people who’ve done extraordinary things.
Louise, a keen cyclist, will watch the Push Your Peak podcast, which will focus on sports.
Yesterday, Louise gave an update for fans and those interested, writing on social media: “Let me tell you guys the first episode of my @wattbike #pushyourpeak podcast is coming soon. on this Wednesday and who is better to start than endurance cyclist @mrmarkbeaumont who is amazingly honest, providing extensive insights into how he overcame tough events .
“I’ve enjoyed making these podcasts and have learned so much for each of my guests. Thank you all and I hope you enjoy listening to them too. The countdown has begun…”
When the joint venture was announced, Louise was Instagram and said: “Push Your Peak is a brand new podcast brought to you by Wattbike.
“Join me, Louise Minchin, and some of the world’s most incredible athletes to learn what it takes mentally and physically to push yourself beyond your limits.
“Whether you are an elite or everyday athlete, it can be difficult to continuously improve.
“How do you push yourself out of your comfort zone? Where do you have to go to find that drive inside?
“Stay tuned to hear these inspirational stories and take away the belief that you can achieve your own goals no matter how big or small.”
Fans of the newspaper were quick to comment on her new project, with one line reading: “Really looking forward to this.”
A second person then said: “That sounds really interesting. I’d love to hear it.”
While some others were emotional as she got off the BBC Breakfast sofa and said: “I still miss you in the morning gorgeous woman.”

Louise resigned her BBC presentation in September 2021 after two decades of waking the country up.
At the time she quit her job, she released a statement that read: “I’ve absolutely loved being part of the BBC Breakfast strong family of 6 million but after almost two decades presenting program, I decided it was time for me to stop setting alarms for 0340 am.
“My deepest thanks to everyone who followed and supported me, I loved it and I will miss you all.”
However, she couldn’t stay away from the world of television for long as in November she starred on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and enter Gwyrch Castle.
The perfect person to start this new sports-focused podcast, the broadcaster embarked on a 1,200-kilometer journey on his bike from the border between Chile and Argentina.
While cycling, she was 3,800 meters above the Andes to Buenos Aires. After completing the challenge, she said, “It was truly a test of endurance and courage that I will never forget.”
