Exes Kady McDermott and Scott Thomas have sparked rumors that a reconciliation could be on the cards – six years since they first met on the ITV2 show.

During their time on the second series of dating shows in 2016, the TV stars combined and made it all the way to the final – where they finished in third place behind runners-up Alex and Olivia Bowen. and winners Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde.

Sadly, it made no sense to the outside world and the couple split the following year in December 2017.

Four years have passed since the couple went their separate ways, fans have been discussing the possibility that the two exes have secretly resumed their relationship.

Thanks to both Kady and Scott enjoying showing off their snaps after their beach vacation, amateur sleuths on social media have pondered whether the two stars will go abroad together.

Over the weekend, Kady took to TikTok to share a clip of a candlelit romantic meal on the beach – with a mysterious dining partner alluded to but not in the footage.

Thanks to ex Scott who is also enjoying a sunny holiday abroad, fans have put the two together and are so excited.

“Please tell me you’re back with Scott,” one TikTok user asked Kady under her favorite video, with another adding: “definitely with Scott.”

As commenters on Kady’s post got excited about the possibility of a Love Island reunion, some fans dug a little deeper to dig deeper into the rumor.

“He’s in Mexico and she’s in the Maldives,” one eagle-eyed social media user pointed out to people who claimed Scott was Kady’s vacation friend.

“Why do people raise Scott [laughing-face emoji] It’s not like four years ago,” another quipped, as Love Island fans’ dreams of reunion have gone to pieces.

After Scott and Kady split in 2017, Kady moved on with The Only Way Is Essex star Myles Barnett – who live in a mansion – but the two stars split last year after three years together.

During their affair, the couple previously renovated a bungalow into a luxury two-story home, complete with six bedrooms, in Hertfordshire.

Earlier this month, Kady confirmed she had purchased the property from the Essex native, proudly declaring that she is the sole owner of “McDermott Manor”.

“I just bought my ex out of the house, I’m really happy about it,” she told The Sun.

“I’m finishing that renovation, hoping to do another project later in the year.

Since splitting with Miles, Kady had a brief romance with Aston Villa footballer Matty Cash, but is currently officially single and dating.

The identity of her mysterious holiday partner remains unknown.
