Love Island bosses are said to be ready to sign 6ft 2ins basketball star Jordan Spencer for the show’s newest series, which premieres June 6.

The towering lad, who used to play for the London Lions, is said to be currently in talks with the hit show ITV2.

Despite having a modest 3,600 followers on Instagram, London-born Jordan’s looks are sure to prove appealing to viewers and the girls in the mansion.

The 27-year-old, who studied at Augustana University in South Dakota before graduating in 2018, regularly shares topless photos and action shots on his personal page.

A source told Sun : “It’s too early to say if Jordan will be in the final squad but the bosses are very interested.

“He’s in talks to appear on Love Island and has even met with some of the producers who are working on the key cast list.”

A Love Island spokesperson said: “Any names suggested are purely speculative at this stage.”

Jordan won’t be the first basketball player to appear on the show. In 2019, Ovie Soko won the hearts of millions of fans before finishing in third place.
