Love Island fans brace themselves for a dramatic reunion

Love Island only started two weeks ago but there has already been plenty of drama and new girl Danica Taylor will be involved in more soon.

At the end of Friday’s episode, Danica was told she had to pick a boy to date despite only being in there for less than 24 hours.

In typical Love Island fashion, the show pulled out before she could choose the person she wanted to be a couple with.

However, she previously said: “I have decided to mate with this boy. I haven’t even been here 24 hours, so this is a really strange situation for me.

“I’ve hardly met any of you. You’re all nice guys, but I didn’t come here to make sure. I have to follow my heart somehow.

“I can only say what I can see at face value and someone who I think is usually my type.

“Unfortunately, I have yet to research this, so I have to follow my heart in this case. The boy I want to date is…”

However, in another twist, any boy who remains single is thrown off the island in a sudden eviction.

Fans of the show think that Danica might hook up with Luca Bish, who is currently dating Gemma Owen, or Jacques O’Neill, who is dating Paige Thorne, because they said they were the closest thing to her type.

However, this makes it unclear who the other girls would then vote for.

But some think it’s inevitable that either Davide Sanclimenti or Remi Lambert will remain single.

Fans took to Twitter to talk about who they think will go home.

One wrote: “The more I think about it, the more Davide gets voted out. There is literally no 1 that will choose him over Remi. Gemma is Ekin-Su’s sidekick so definitely no, Paige had a date with Remi and Ekin-Su won’t pick him. Result: Potentially most entertaining boy in the mansion goes home #LoveIsland”

Another said: “This relink is going to be interesting hmmm I kinda hope she chooses Remi or something else bc if she chooses Jay then Ekinsu definitely won’t choose Davide so he’ll probably leave #LoveIsland .”

A third tweeted: “Danica will choose Luca and Davide will end up with Gemma. Remi didn’t bring his ‘A’ game so expect him to leave.”

After Danica’s choice, she will go on a date with her new partner.

The new couple headed to a romantic seaside setting with a picnic blanket and drinks.

The pair seem to hit it off right away, with Danica opening up about the date: “Honestly, this is probably the second real date I think I’ve been on.”

Her date replies, “Wow, pleasure.”

He adds, “I’m sure a lot of guys would want to kiss you.”

Danica asks, “Kissing on a first date?”
