Love Island: Luca’s family apologizes for his ‘insensitive’ behavior towards Gemma

The family of Love Island star Luca Bish has apologized on his behalf following his behavior during the movie night challenge.

uring Sunday night’s show, the fishmonger was “revealed” after the girls were shown footage of him encouraging other boys to be unfaithful while the girls were at Casa Amor.

Luca told Andrew to kiss Coco, before asking him, “Tasha, who?”

In another scene, he watches and cheers as Dami kisses Summer, despite the microbiologist being paired with Indiyah.

Today, Luca’s family shared a post to Instagram Stories saying they do not tolerate his behaviour.

“I would like to apologize on behalf of Luca for his insensitive reaction to last night’s episode,” they wrote. “I know that when he watches it again, he will be very embarrassed and deeply apologetic.

“We, as well as his family, do not condone his behaviour, but we understand he is in a stressful environment where his emotions run high. Last night was not a reflection of the boy we all know and love at home. “

They continued: “Be aware of death threats and nasty comments that completely exceed the mark and [are] something that we as a family should not have to endure”.

They then explained that comments were turned off on Luca’s site going forward.

Love Island returns at 9pm tonight on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.
