Love Island producers ‘tell Danica to steal Luca from Gemma’ to add drama

In Love Island’s latest appearance, Danica Taylor has decided to hook up with Luca Bish and snatch him away from Gemma Owen, after being said to be ‘stirring up the pot’ by producers.

Love Island: Bombshell Danica chooses Luca to pair with

Love Island’s producers are said to have told the latest blockbuster Danica Taylor to ‘stir up the pot’ between the ‘snake couple’ Gemma Owen and Luca Bish.

The 21-year-old entered the villa in Spain on Friday evening (June 17) and was picked up first among the boys in Sunday’s collection.

Dancer Danica, from Leicester, shocked viewers when she chose to rob 23-year-old Luca from Gemma, 19 despite having the right to choose single boys.

Luca held her head in her arms and looked dazed after being held by Danica. Gemma was then forced to take back her former partner, Davide Sanclimenti.

The recall left rookie Remi Lambert with a single and he was subsequently removed from the island.

According to MailOnline, ITV bosses convinced Danica to pair up with Luca to create drama and suspense.

An insider told the store : “Danica is a bombshell, she’s beautiful, confident and willing to do whatever it takes to find love in the mansion.

“The producers wanted her to steal Luca from Gemma during Friday’s recall, and she was totally up for it.”

They said that although she could have chosen singles Remi or Davide, she “conspired” with the producers to create a dramatic new storyline.

The producers seemed to want to test Gemma and Luca’s relationship.

However, an ITV spokesman told the publication that this is not true and that islanders make their own decisions about their relationships.

Danica tried and couldn’t turn Luca’s head, as the pair were being dated outside the mansion.

The producers organized a romantic picnic on the beach for Luca and Danica but the fish hunter later admitted that his heart was in Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma.

Speaking on the Beach Hut, Luca said: “I can say that Danica is a very beautiful girl but she is not Gemma.

“F**ing what the hell is going on with me?”

Later that evening, Luca decided to sleep separately instead of sharing a bed with Danica. To the surprise of some fans, Gemma shared a bed with Davide.

Writing on Twitter, one said: “There’s no way Gemma would sleep in bed with Davide.”

Another fan wrote: “Wait why would Gemma choose to sleep with Davide while Luca sleeps outside,” while a third said: “Please don’t gemma sleep in bed instead of with luca.”

Danica has previously described her type as having dark hair and light eyes. She said she would like someone with a tan and would like to date an older man.

She revealed that she has never dated anyone her age or younger, leading some guys to believe her perfect math could be the Italian stallion Davide.
